ABOUT US
Hello! I’m Cynthia Cushing, the designer and creator of Lakeside Yarn. From 2010 to 2019, I proudly owned a brick and mortar shop by that name in Excelsior, Minnesota. That brick and mortar shop is now known as BE. at Lakeside, where you can still find quality yarns and a whole lot more. You can also catch me on the road at various events around the country. I am excited to offer my original designs and the hand-picked yarns to make them (many exclusive to Lakeside Yarn) for sale on this site.
A little about me: As a “recovering attorney” by profession, I chose the law, as many do, with the lofty goal of changing the world. We who are knitters know that the world can also change, one row, one skein and one knitter at a time.
